St Nicholas' Day is celebrated on December 6th in many countries of Europe. Saint Nicolas is often represented with its donkey and sometimes accompanied with the Bogeyman! Various traditions accompany St Nicholas' Day; it is in particular the opportunity for children to receive presents or candies.
