Red Hulk is a red and more powerful version of the Hulk, appearing in Marvel comics in 2008. Unlike the Hulk, he retains his intelligence and can absorb energy. His secret identity is General Thunderbolt Ross, a longtime enemy of the Hulk. He becomes Red Hulk after a transformation orchestrated by the AIM organization and the Leader. His aggressive temperament and lust for power make him even more dangerous than the original Hulk.
