The Pokémon can perform various Water-type attacks, such as Bubble Beam and Water Gun. Staryu’s jewel is said to be the source of its power, glowing when it is under stress. It can evolve into Starmie when exposed to a Water Stone. Staryu is often seen in oceans and beaches, using its speed to swim and catch prey.
