Magcargo is a dual-type Fire/Rock Pokémon introduced in Generation II. It resembles a slug with a molten rock shell that is always hot to the touch. Magcargo's body is soft and slimy, but its shell is made of hardened lava. It is often found in hot environments such as volcanoes, where it thrives in extreme heat. Despite its slow movement, it has a unique ability to produce lava-based attacks, making it a dangerous opponent in battle.
