Chinchou is a dual-type Water/Electric Pokémon introduced in Generation II. It resembles a lanternfish, with a round body and two antennae that generate electrical charges. Chinchou uses these electrical charges to communicate with other Pokémon and navigate through dark underwater environments. It can also use electric attacks to defend itself.
