Shelmet hides inside its tough, helmet-like shell to avoid danger. It sprays acidic liquid at enemies from inside its shell. Shelmet evolves into Accelgor when traded for a Karrablast, an unusual evolution method. It thrives in moist environments like swamps and wetlands. Shelmet moves slowly but has exceptional defense. In battle, it uses moves like Acid, Bug Buzz, and Guard Swap. It keeps its shell closed tightly until it feels safe. The shell is also used to store moisture during dry periods. Shelmet’s rivalry with Karrablast is well-documented in Pokémon lore. Despite its defensive nature, it can be affectionate toward its Trainer. Its design draws from medieval helmets and real freshwater snails.
