Kyurem is the third member of the Tao Trio, said to be the hollow shell left when Reshiram and Zekrom split from a single being. It lives in a frozen cavern, absorbing heat from its surroundings. In battle, it uses moves like Glaciate, Blizzard, and Fusion attacks when fused with Reshiram or Zekrom. Kyurem can take on Black Kyurem or White Kyurem forms using the DNA Splicers. Legends portray it as both feared and pitied. It is said to descend from the sky in an icy comet. Kyurem represents the absence of truth or ideals, a balance point between the other two dragons. Its design is based on frozen dragons and alien-like creatures.
