In KPop Demon Hunters, demons are supernatural creatures who have come to wreak havoc in the human world. Gwi-Ma is the powerful and manipulative king of the demons, the main threat. Jinu, a former human turned demon, leads the Saja Boys, a demonic boy band. The Saja Boys use their charm and music to steal spiritual energy from fans. There are also secondary demons, such as the faceless demons or the pilot demons, who are often grotesque and numerous. Together, these creatures seek to destroy the magical Honmoon barrier that protects humanity.
