Florent Manaudou is flag bearer for France at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. He is a French swimmer born in 1990 in Villeurbanne. At the 2012 London Olympics, he won the gold medal in the 50-meter freestyle, breaking the Olympic record. He also got silver in the 4x100 meter freestyle at these games. After a break in his career, he returned to the Tokyo Olympics in 2020, where he won silver in the 50 meter freestyle. Manaudou is recognized for his power and exceptional technique in short races.
