Cubchoo is a small, adorable bear Pokémon that lives in snowy regions. The constant drip from its nose is a sign of its health—when the drip is clear, Cubchoo is in top condition. It uses this mucus in some of its Ice-type attacks, such as Icy Wind. Cubchoo is playful and enjoys sliding on snow and ice. It evolves into Beartic at level 37, gaining significant size and strength. In the wild, it stays close to its mother until it can fend for itself. It has a high tolerance for freezing temperatures. Cubchoo is cautious around strangers but quickly warms up to kind Trainers. In battle, it also uses moves like Powder Snow and Play Nice. The design combines traits of polar bear cubs and cartoonish winter aesthetics.
